Change the backrests
You can easily move the Cascais backrests along the sides of each element. To reposition them, simply insert the cushion supports into the hidden holes located beneath the seat seams. The largest L element features two backrest slots along its longer side, plus one on each of the shorter sides—giving you multiple layout options. Meanwhile, the square K element holds one backrest on two of its sides, and the rectangular F element accommodates one backrest on a shorter side.
When you want a more open setup or need extra space, just remove the backrests and neatly store them in the built-in storage compartment at the bottom of the set.
Adapt as you wish
The main advantage of CasCais sofas is that they can be changed, rotated and moved in a variety of different configurations. You can also change its covers – you can take off each element, wash the covers and put them back on. If you want a completely new look for your living room, by purchasing completely new covers, you can refresh the sofa in a few years and harmonize it with your new style.
Assemble and fix
The Cascais elements are connected to each other by connectors made of a combination of Velcro and metal, which are stuck between the wooden frames on the underside and prevent the seat from sliding apart. There is also a storage compartment under each CasCaiso element, where you can stow the backrests and connectors you don’t need at the moment.
