Job Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Driver and Installation Technician. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting equipment and products to customers’ sites, then expertly installing and testing them to ensure smooth operation.
Responsibilities:
Driving:
- Safely and efficiently drive a van to transport furniture and other items to customers’ homes.
- Load and unload furniture and other items from the van carefully and without damaging them.
- Navigate to customers’ homes using maps and navigation apps.
- Provide assistance with warehouse tasks, such as loading and unloading materials and products, and performing general warehouse duties.
- Assist in Packing, carrying, unpacking, and installing furniture and other items.
- Drive & Work safely and responsibly by following traffic laws and company procedures.
- Deliver items accurately and on time according to instructions and ensure that items are delivered correctly to the customer.
- Keep accurate records of all activities, including obtaining customer approval and delivering delivery forms, and maintaining relevant documents and reports.
- Maintain the van in good condition by performing regular maintenance and repairs.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, such as mileage, vehicle usage times, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance and repair details.
Installation:
- Assist with the installation of furniture and other items in customers’ homes.
- Follow installation instructions carefully and safely.
- Use the appropriate tools and equipment to install furniture and other items.
- Work cooperatively with customers to ensure that the installation is completed to their satisfaction.
- Report any defects, problems, or incidents to the appropriate person immediately.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Location: Must be able to work in Dubai, DIP 1
- Driver’s license: Must have a valid driver’s license with no negative points
- Knowledge of UAE driving laws and regulations: Must have a good understanding of UAE driving laws and regulations
- Availability to join immediately: Must be available to join the company immediately
- Work experience: Minimum of 2 years of verified experience in similar roles
- Flexibility: Must be able to adapt to a variety of work situations
- Multitasking: Must be able to multitask effectively
- Communication and customer service skills: Must have strong communication and customer service skills
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills: Must be interested in teamwork and interacting constructively with colleagues
